9th Annual Community Recycling Day

MLCA Community Recycling Day – June 30th

For the 9th year, the MLCA and the City of Calgary Waste & Recycling Services and Community Standards have joined forces to help MLCA residents dispose of unwanted household items and property waste.

We’re back hosting in the Summer!

EVENT DETAILS:

Sunday, June 30th

9:00 am – 1:30 pm (drop off)

MLCA parking lot  (3130 16th Street SW)

ACCEPTING:

  • Household Waste (City of Calgary)
  • Home Electronics (Quantam Lifecycle Partners LP)
  • Metals (ALCOP Resource Recycling Inc.) – NO propane tanks, refrigerators, freezer, AC units, rims with rubber or batteries)
  • Clothing and Small Household Items (WINS – Women in Need Society)
  • Kids Car Seats (Re-Matt)

NOT ACCEPTING:

  • Glass
  • Household Chemicals
  • Liquids (Oils)
  • Alkaline Batteries
  • Refrigerated Appliances
  • Propane Tanks
  • Railway Ties
  • Tires
  • Paint

 

Swap Zone:

This area is available to dispose of/or recycle gently used sports equipment or household items such as: toys, dishes, furniture etc.
