Day Camps – Idea Lab Kids – NEW

Not only are Day Camps back, but are now trying our NEW Camp we planned to offer back in 2020!  We are branching out on interests and decided to partner with our popular program offering, Idea Lab.

Idea Lab Kids supports STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) . They provide camps that will gear children towards a hands-on, fun learning experience relating to science and technology. This year we have the following two options:

July 26 – 30

9:00 am – 4:00 pm (8:30am-9:00am drop-off time and 4:00pm-4:30pm pick-up time)

5y – 7y

Astronomy 101

Interested in space and our solar system? About our sun, the other planets, and their moons? Asteroids and comets? Life and where we might find it? Campers get to learn about all these questions in this camp about all the wonders of our solar system.

8y – 12y

Roblox Game Development

In this camp, students will let their creativity shine while improving their programming, coding, and design skills by creating basic and advanced obbies, adventure maps, and more.

August 9 – 13

9:00 am – 4:00 pm (8:30am-9:00am drop-off time and 4:00pm-4:30pm pick-up time)

5y – 7y

Medical Science: Future Doctors

Little Doctors work on learning about what makes our body work. From learning about digestive systems and building working models of our lungs while studying the respiration process. One of the most popular camps each year with a fantastic turnout as young campers explore the beginning stages of becoming a doctor.

8y – 12y

Hocus Pocus, A Wizarding Science Academy

Luminary. Levitation. Smoldering snakes. What do all of these have in common? Well, they are all needed knowledge to pass the Idea Lab Wizarding Exam. Using science, technology, and our imagination we will test the boundaries of what is real and what is magic, what is science and what is sorcery. Campers, keep your spell books close as you never know when you might need a touch of magic!

Please note you must purchase a Membership with the MLCA in order to join our camps. We also reduced our pricing from 2018 to reflect the Membership costs in order to make it cost neutral for Members.  Click Here for more info!
